At Sherpa Wealth Strategies, we use a comprehensive process to uncover your goals.

During our DISCOVERY MEETING, we’ll ask you lots of questions to understand where you are today, where you’d like to be and why. We’ll ask you to bring all of your financial documents, including investment statements, tax returns, your will or trust and all of your insurance policies.

We don't charge for our Discovery Meeting. It's your chance to see how we work, after which we can decide if it makes sense to do business. Together, we’ll decide which of our Financial Planning Options would be best for you.

Once you hire us to create your financial plan, we get to work.

The first steps are to GATHER AND ANALYZE DATA. You'll have brought most of the documents on your Appointment Checklist to the Discovery Meeting, but inevitably we'll follow up for more information.

The next step is to CREATE A PLAN. We offer three levels of planning, but all plans will include:

The next step is to CREATE A PLAN. We offer three levels of planning, but all plans will include:

  • Cash flow analysis
  • Estate and beneficiary review
  • Asset Allocation

  • Retirement planning

The next step is to IMPLEMENT your plan, because that's where you get all of your results. You might wish thinking about exercise would make you physically fit, but you actually have to go to the gym to get into shape. And you actually have to IMPLEMENT your plan to get results. We can help you implement your plan, or give you guidance to implement it on your own.

Over time, we'll need to MONITOR your plan. Life has a way of throwing us curveballs, and it's important to make sure you're still on track.

Finally, we provide ACCOUNTABILITY to our clients. We'll do our part and we expect you to do yours – make those retirement plan contributions, update your estate plan, meet with your CPA. Most of our clients thank us for the gentle reminders to get things done.

By the way, firm founder Brian K. Stallcop has been a Financial Advisor since 2001 and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ since 2007. Though everybody's situation is unique, chances are pretty good that he's helped a client with a situation similar to yours.

*We're not attorneys or CPAs, but we can identify key issues for discussion with yours. If you don't have a good CPA or attorney, we can refer you to one.

** We can send you to your property-casualty and health insurance agents with a list of issues to address. If you need a new agent, we can refer you to one.
